WATER DAMAGE

If you have a water leak from your appliances, sink, shower/tub, or toilet, you may have significant damage, which your insurance may cover. If you have any other water leak, it may be covered as well. Reach out, and we will let you know.

MOLD DAMAGE

The cause of mold is moisture. Mold can cause health problems as well as structural issues to your property. If you see or suspect mold, reach out and let us get the damages covered by your insurance.

ROOF DAMAGE

Many homes in Florida have roof damage that the property owner is not aware of. Your roof can have damages that are only visible when inspected by a professional. Do not wait until there is interior damage; get your roof inspected often.

FLOOD DAMAGE

Water causes a considerable amount of damage to your property. If you have flood insurance and your property is flooded, let us handle the claim for you. There is a lot of damage that can be, and is, hidden.

FIRE & SMOKE

As the saying goes, where there is smoke, there is fire. The damage caused by the flames is often apparent. However, the damage caused by smoke can be severe and oftentimes hidden.

HURRICANE DAMAGE

This is the damage many property owners in Florida file a claim for. With hurricanes, floodwaters, lightning, tornadoes, rain, wind, and the list goes on. After the storm, let us inspect your home for damages you may not be aware of.

PLUMBING

Cast iron pipes break and cause damage to your foundation. If you have cast iron pipes and have plumbing issues, reach out. The replacement of these pipes is expensive and, often, can be covered by your carrier.

HAIL

Hail can cause damage to not just your roof but also your screen enclosures, HVAC, gutters, etc. After a Hail storm, reach out and let us inspect your property. We will represent you to get any damages covered by your insurance.

What is a PA

What is a Public Adjuster?

First and foremost, a Public Adjuster is an insurance claims adjuster licensed and bonded to represent the property owner. When you have an insurance claim, the carrier will send their adjuster out to determine how much they are willing to pay you. A Public Adjuster will be able to negotiate on your behalf, and on average, get you, the property owner, significantly more money for your claim. The reason is, the Public Adjuster understands the claims process, your policy, and what the carrier should be paying.

Fighting against the insurance carrier on your own, and yes, it is a fight, is akin to getting a divorce and having your ex's lawyer tell you how much you are entitled. Do not fight the carrier alone. A Public Adjuster will fight on your behalf, take care of all the necessary paperwork, coordinate all the inspections, and save you the headache of dealing with the carrier. In most states, only two people are legally allowed to represent you against the insurance carriers - attorneys and Public Adjusters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does hiring a Public Adjuster cost?

A: A Public Adjuster will only charge a fee if you get your insurance payment. The fee will be a percentage of the insurance, so there will be no money out of pocket.

Q: I already filed my claim, but it was denied. Is this something you can help me with?

A: It is common for the insurance carrier to deny claims for many reasons. Just because it was denied, does not mean that it cannot be won. We have had success reopening a denied claim and working it until it was paid.

Q: Can I have my contractor deal with the insurance carrier for me?

A: It is actually against the law for the contractor to act as a Public Adjuster without a license. Your contractor can legally tell the carrier how much they would charge to do the work, but they cannot negotiate on your behalf. Also, many contractors fail to include all the damages that should be covered, resulting in you coming out of pocket to fix those items that were not covered.

Q: I trust my carrier; why can't I take their word for it?

A: I'm sure you trust your doctor too. However, if he/she told you some bad news, wouldn't you want a second opinion? Although, if you have complete faith in your carrier to treat you right and tell you how much they owe you, then stick with them. However, if you want someone to fight on your behalf to ensure the damages are entirely covered, then hire a Public Adjuster.

Q: Couldn't I hire an attorney to work my claim?

A: Absolutely! In most states, only two people are legally allowed to represent you in a claim - an attorney and a Public Adjuster. Attorneys and Public Adjusters both work on your behalf. The majority of claims can be done without going to court, and as such, a Public Adjuster is excellent to work it for you. However, there are times when we must take it to court, and a good Public Adjuster will be able to refer you to a competent attorney who could handle the claim for you. In the end, an attorney and a Public Adjuster have an excellent working relationship and complement each other's profession.
